Snonk crystals are extremely rare crystals. The snonk crystals change colors depending on how old they are. When they first form they are pink, when they are about 10000 years old they are blue, when they are 50000 years old they are green, and when they are 150000 years old they are yellow.
The snonk crystals form in a massive cave 3000 feet below the surface of Centera. This cave stretches over the entirety of Centera and has many different branching paths. Some paths even go down to the core of Centera! The cave is filled with snonk crystals, but the only reason they aren't everywhere all over the surface is because of the snonk men who guard the cave and are positioned around every entrance and throughout the cave.
Very few of the snonk crystals are brought to the surface because it is almost impossible to get through the snonk men. There are only about 50 yellow colored crystals for sale through the entirety of Centera.
In some cases, snonk crystals have appeared out on the surface of Centera. There is a legend of a 'lord of crystals', the massive orange snonk crystal that can sometimes grow crystals on the surface of Centera, and that is also responsible for growing all of the crystals in the cave. The Lord of crystals is approximately 500 ft wide and tall.
