The Ulok teek was a common plant on Zikobher. It was farmed by the Zikians because of its tasty leaves, the leaves of the Ulok teek are long and wide and have a delicious sweet taste to them. The Ulok teek had a large base and had many leaves at the top of the base, the base is around 3-5 feet. It also has a large root system that focuses on going down instead of spreading out, they do that because of the Ibit root. The Ulok teek’s base grows extremely slow once fully grown (5 GG or 10 millimeters per year) but when it’s a young plant the base grows its full size in under a year.

The Ulok teek also regrows it’s leaves quickly because the leaves are actually a protecter for the plants base. This plant has a sap in the middle of its base and if the sap is removed it becomes dehydrated quickly, that’s because the plant mixes sap and water from the ground to create a mixture that nourishes the plant, the plant creates the sap by using chemicals from the dirt. So the leaves protect the plant using little hairs that poke any large herbivore from eating the base. They also protect against small insects.
