The Katina are a native species from [[Quad 1]]. They build villages above the water using wood from the [[Hasian tree]].
 
Whenever they need food they jump off the platforms their villages are made on into the water, and they can use their spears to kill any fish that are around. Although the Katina have villages above water they spend more than 65% of their life underwater doing things like hunting and training their young.
 
Close to the north pole of Quad 1, there is a village where the Katina leader, Ogath, lives. This village is massive and it has many defenses like ships and walls.
 
The Katina have slimy skin like a frog, and they also have webbed fingers and a tail to help with swimming.
 
They live to be 300 years old but the oldest one is still alive and he is over 1000 years old and his name is Haloa. They also are an avg. of 7 feet tall and the tallest one was 9 feet tall.
 
There are 500 million Katina on the planet and thousands of villages.
