Unknown planets are planets that are barely known to anyone. Some unknown planets have many people on them, but either the people on the unknown planet cannot leave or they have a pact to keep the planet a secret. If you land on an unknown planet, you will either be killed or turned into a salve.
Unknown planets are protected by the Galactic Law, meaning if you land on them, you cannot destroy them unless you claim the land through a Galactic land contract signed by whoever wants the land and also one of the members of the UU council.
Planets like Tero, Olarge, Zorgul, …, Hippity are a few of the unknown planets, but some are more popular than others.
There are around 500 trillion unknown planets, and unlike the planets above, they are completely undiscovered because most explorers like the legendary Moto Minko, are all very old and can't explore anymore, but there still is many explorers but even in 100 lifetimes they wouldn't come close to documenting all the unkown planets.
