Yalimba

The Yalimba is a weird worm from Quad 1 because they stay in their egg for their whole life. Once they are ready to "hatch", they grow legs and walk around on the ocean floor. 2 days after the Yalimba grows legs it will grow a mouth and start eating algae and even other Yalimba eggs.

The Yalimba have no predators except for each other or the occasional Mug mug accidentally eating one of them.

The worm on the inside of the egg cannot get wet or they will die, so they use the egg for protection until 5 years later when the Yalimba will hatch fully and mate with other Yalimbas and then die.
