Ibit root

The Ibit root is a large plant in Zikobher, it has no leaves and is mostly underground as roots but it can send a flower out of the ground if it has enough water and that happens a lot on Zikobher. The flowers are bulbs that never open, they are purple and have a green fruit on the inside that’s crunchy and sour, the Zikians love these fruits and eat them regularly, they often water the forest floors so more bulbs will grow. The Ibit root grows very ferocious and can entangle large Jimpilink roots, in rare cases it can kill the tree. The Ibit plant has no problem destroying the root systems of smaller plants that have little roots.
